Our process

  • 1. Initial discussion

    Tell us what you need — maybe the kitchen’s too small, you want another bedroom, or you’re thinking of removing a wall. We’ll visit your home, measure up, check the structure, and talk through what’s possible. You’ll get straight advice on load-bearing walls, footings, and council requirements.

  • 2. Site visit

    We’ll take measurements, photos, and notes, and look closely at your home’s structure. You’ll get honest feedback about what can stay, what needs reinforcing, and what might need engineering before work begins.

  • 3. Design and planning

    If you’re working with an architect or designer, we’ll review their plans with you and flag any structural or practical considerations early. That way, what’s designed can actually be built — within your budget and local requirements.

  • 4. Quotes and contracts

    You’ll get a clear, itemised quote that covers materials, labour, permits, and engineering. We’ll also give you a timeline and explain how each stage works. Once you approve, we handle permits, order materials, and line up trades — everything’s scheduled before we start.

  • 5. Build and updates

    Dan and the team manage the build from start to finish. We keep the site tidy, send you progress photos, and stay in touch about what’s next. If something unexpected comes up, you’ll know before any work continues.

  • 6. Handover

    Once the job’s complete, we’ll walk through everything with you and make sure you’re happy. You’ll get all warranties and certificates, and final payment only happens once you’re completely satisfied.
