Jodans story
Jodans Building Services started in 2004 when Jo and Dan decided to do things properly. No shortcuts, no cowboys, just honest building work backed by real experience.
Dan has been in the trade for over 30 years. He has seen trends come and go, building codes evolve, and worked on everything from heritage restorations to modern extensions. That knowledge matters when you trust someone with your home.
Dan does every initial site assessment himself. He wants to understand your home before any work is scoped or quoted. He knows what to look for: load-bearing walls that aren’t obvious, footings that will need reinforcement, and structural issues that are much cheaper to fix before work starts than after. You’ll get straight advice in that first conversation, not a sales pitch.
Most of our work happens across Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern regions. We like it that way. It means we are accountable to our neighbours and understand the homes, councils and character of the area.
